Fiction or fictional stories are made out of imagination.
Usually, they have nothing to do with the real world but still, some writers take the clue from their surrounding and create an imaginary fabricated short or long story out of it.
Though it might seem that both Fairy Tale and Fiction are same but there’s a substantial difference between them. Fiction, though being imaginative, is still closer to the real world. It has more darkness in it because of the presence of truth & lies.
Fictional short stories may be based on the actual historical events; however, the writers make sure that they don’t present the story as it is. This has two reasons:
They don’t want to hurt the feeling of anyone.
They don’t want to get into legal trouble.
So to avoid any kind of issues, the writers present the historical events in the form of made-up artistic stories. They create imaginative characters and give twists to the stories.
Unlike the characters of fairy tales, the characters of fiction usually don’t possess any supernatural powers. They are as close to the real world as possible. This makes reading these fictions interesting; especially for those who are not fascinated by the magical world, but want the real world experience.
